How To Prevent iTunes From Removing IPhone IPod Applications

This tutorial will show you how to change your apps from installed to permanent apps in your apple iphone or ipod. This is a solution on iTunes removing applications from iphone when syncing without reauthorize your computer via itunes. Before you follow this tutorial you must jailbreak iphone/ipod . I dont know if u didn’t jailbreak can do this…=)

1) you must have iFunBox .u can download from (http://www.i-funbox.com/)
2) if you didn’t see your iphone/ipod current firmware on ifunbox because using blackra1n, you must install afc2add from cydia. This will fix issues for folks unable to use USB browsers.

Here is step by step with picture.

STEP 1: From picture you can see in my iTunes that show my Y!Messenger have delete icon on the left side.

STEP 2: Open ifunbox

STEP 3: Select application folder and expand it. You will see the permanent application that comes from apple. This is your directory to put your installation application to be permanent (Raw File System/Application).

STEP 4: Then we should find your installation apps. Click Raw Files System and expand it then go Raw File System/private/var

STEP 5: Then go to mobile folder. You will see 4 folder. Applications, Document, Library and Media. (Raw File System/private/var/mobile/applications)

STEP 6: Select applications folder and expand it.

STEP 7: You will see folder namely like this. eg. FDDB16143-98D1-5JKD-1923-3HHS99BS435Q. Expand it. (u must find manually until u find your application that u want make permanent). After found your apps, you will see folder ****.app (****=your application name) .

STEP 8: Drag your ****.app folder to previously folder that i said that the permanent applications. (drag ****.app to Raw File System/Application)
